We report on the crazy situation in Staffordshire where a skip permit on one side of the road was free, but was £50 on the other! Another example of why we think there should be homogenisation of skip hire permit charges throughout the land, instead of letting councils “interpret” the Act for their own fund raising needs under the guise of road safety.
