THE ART OF WASTE

At one time or another, we’ve probably all peered into a skip and seen something interesting or appealing. Artist Kevin Harman, however, is taking things to a whole new level with his truly captivating skip sculptures.

Kevin is not just putting sculptures into skips as a gimmick - he actually takes the everyday contents of a skip and painstakingly arranges it into a thing of beauty, challenging people to look differently at materials which are otherwise considered waste.

Kevin has created these masterpieces in Germany, Switzerland and, more recently, in Scotland. He has ambitions to create more around the UK and then all around Europe.

“I have a large show in Edinburgh, mid June where I will be taking two or three midi skips into a large gallery where around 4,000 people will see the exhibition, along with some of my other work.” Kevin told The Skip.

If you are interested in sponsoring Kevin, supplying skips for his exhibitions or
would like more information about his work and where to see it, please contact us at The Skip and we will pass on your details.
