Alan's Skip Hire of Bretton, near Chester, have taken a new, direct approach to convincing consumers to get recycling more. Their new DAF truck carries the message “Recycle or the Penguin Gets It!”
Marketing Director at Daf Trucks, Tony Pain, commented: “On the basis that a picture tells a thousand words etc, clearly Alan's Skip Hire thinks that threats are now necessary to get the message across that we all need to recycle more!”
It’s an innovative and amusing way to communicate a serious and urgent issue, so we at The Skip are quite impressed by the scheme. Let’s hope it has the desired effect
when out and about on the streets…
