Skip Chicks
One for the lads…

Our tip-top-chick-stop has been blessed by yet another beauty this month! Behold the lovely Trixie-Sue from UK Skip Sales for your ogling enjoyment (don’t you suddenly find yourself wishing you worked at UK Skip Sales?!) Let’s meet Trixie-Sue…
Q. Hi Trixie-sue, how do you do?
A. Very well thanks, how do you do?
Q. I’m great! (Wow, Skip Chicks never ask that. I could be in here…) You seem nice and cheery, can you tell us a little about yourself?
A. I’m 18 and have an active social life at uni – partying with the girlies, keeping fit and looking after my furry little friend FIFI! (That’s her dog)
Q. FIFI? Nice name. Speaking of names, yours isn’t one we hear everyday at The Skip?
A. Yeah, it’s pretty different. People don’t forget it! My dad used to be a country and western singer in the states so he insisted on the first part, and my mum’s called Sue so it’s sort of after her as well.
Q. Cool. How long have you been working at UK Skip Sales then? And what’s so great about it? It sounds a bit crazy in the background!
A. Yeah its great here. I’ve only been here a couple of months but I love it. I just work part time because of uni, but everyone is such a laugh – and a bit crazy like me!
Q. You certainly sound like a laugh! What’s your favourite part of The Skip?
A. The bottom! Ha-ha, only joking! I like ‘Skip Confidential’ at the back, and I really love trying to keep my mind ticking over with the crossword. I’ll win one of those cameras one day!!!!
Not just a pretty face then! Thanks for the interview, Trixie-Sue, and good look with the job and your uni studies. (I should ask her out. But what if I she says no? Right, I’ll just do it… oh, bummer – she’s gone).

One for the lads…

This is the lovely Lindsay, from Topskips – proving that they don’t just do top skips, but top chicks too! Let’s meet her…
Q. Hello Lindsay, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
A. Sex maniac ha-ha, don’t print that! (ok, we won’t) I’m 19 and have worked at Topskips for about a month now and am loving it. I used to work in a really old office but wanted to get out of there as it was so boring.
Q. Good to hear, So what’s so good about working at Topskips towers?
A. It’s a much livelier atmosphere – especially when we go out after work because everyone there’s a great laugh. I have so much fun with the people that work here, even if they do take the mickey out of me on a daily basis ha ha!
Q. He-he, so go on – why do they take the mickey out of you?
A. Well my nickname is ‘MasterCard’, like the adverts because I’m priceless; last week the guys convinced me into calling Chester zoo and asking for Mr. C Lyons who wanted a skip.
Q. So what do you like doing when you’re not calling zoos?
A. Wouldn’t you like to know! (well, yeah!) I like singing, dancing, going out and having a laugh. Love my weekends as I can really let my hair down.
Q. Bit of a party animal then, eh? What’s your favourite part of The Skip magazine then?
A. I have only read a few copies since being here as the guys have a few back issues I need to get through, but so far my favourite part of the mag has to be the Skip Hunks. I really love the ones with the beer bellies, don’t laugh, I do! I don’t know what it is about them!
Well thanks for that, Lindsay, I think we’ll forget the gym and get down the pub for a pint or 10…

Two for the lads…

This prime crop of Skip Chick booty belongs to Sam and Nikki from Blakeley’s Waste Management in Wigan.
Q. Hi girls, please can you tell our readers a little about yourselves and what you do for the company?
A. (Nikki) – I am 21 and have worked at Blakeley’s in the transport office since January 2007.
A. (Sam) – I’m 20 and have been with Blakeley’s since July 2006 as the receptionist. I have recently moved in to the transport office.
Q. Do you enjoy working for the company (it looks like you do)?
A. (Both) – Yes, we really enjoy working here because of the people we get to work with. The drivers are a good laugh and we get on with everybody in the office. We also like the fact that, because we are such good friends, we share hangovers whilst at work and June looks after us – making us lots of brews to make us better, he he!
Q. It sounds like you’ve got it all worked out there! So what do you like to do when you’re not working?
A. (Both) – We LOVE going on the day sesh at the weekend, getting drunk and having a good time. If you’re ever in the Leigh area, you’ll be sure to find us in the pub – feel free to join us! We also go to the gym after work (but we don’t like it, HA HA!)
Q. Hmm, gym or pub? Yes, we see what you mean – no contest there, really! Hopefully you like The Skip Magazine more than the gym?
A. (Both) – Yes, we are big Garbage Guru fans! We love Roger, ha ha!
Q. Ladies with a taste for waste! Finally, is there anything else you’d like to say to our readers before you get bad backs standing there?
A. (Both) – We think Alan Cheetham should be the next Hunk of the month! Oh and Blakeleys are the BEST!

Skip Chick – September 2007
Forget stunners – this month we’ve got a real STUNSKA for you! (That gag came courtesy of the Garbage Guru for anyone groaning out there – Ed).
This month’s Skip Chick is 22 year old, Margret and her connection to the Skip Hire world comes courtesy of her husband (yeah, sorry guys she’s married! – Ed), Michael, who works as a Demolition Expert for Gaskells Waste in Liverpool.
Hi Margret, can you tell our readers a little bit about yourself and what you do?
I’m a housewife and mother which is a job in itself and have recently moved over to Liverpool to live with my husband, Michael.
Ok. And what do you enjoy most about Liverpool?
Er, I like the football and the people are all friendly. It’s a nice place.
Great – And what do you enjoy least?
The sausages!!! I like English food but not your sausages – I only like Polish ones!
Erm (embarrassed laugh) Ok! So, what do you like to do when you’re not working?
As I’ve said, being a housewife and a mother – and going out when I get the chance.
What do you like about The Skip magazine?
It’s funny and colourful.
And finally, do you have anything else to say to our readers?
Yeah – did you hear about the two peanuts that walked into a bar? One was assaulted.
Very good. Thanks Margret – sausage disgust and peanut gags – very quirky! Skip along now…
