Screen Trommels for Sale

What could be better than a screen trommel built and manufactured by a skip hire company after 15 years of sorting through skip waste and being frustrated by the high costs of breakdowns and downtime caused by standard trommel designs?

BSA Recycling Ltd, Blackpool, decided to get into trommel manufacture because neccessity is the mother of all invention, and we have a video of their trommel here for anyone interested in getting a top quality trommel for their recycing facility at a good price from a solid British firm.

The Screen Trommel Manufacture Story:

The first item for scrutiny was the screen which had previously been found to wear at an alarming rate. BSA Recycling Ltd produced a punched hole screen with adequate spacings between holes, resulting in a strong, durable and long lasting unit.

The drive mechanism was the next area to receive attention. It has been redesigned with a single hydraulic motor drive, which has alleviated the need for chains, gears and cogs.

For those operators who have had to change a drive wheel will understand the benefits of the next area of modification! The BSA Recycling Ltd Trommel is fitted with a solid rubber drive wheel, rather than one of solid steel, thus reducing vibration. Should the wheel require attention, it can be removed without the need to remove the drum, thus saving hours of downtime.

The whole ethos of this radical redesign has been to concentrate on the longevity of the machine and to provide a cost effective, trouble free system.

BSA Ltd have also undertaken to provide the same level of attention to the feed/exit conveyors and also provide installation, commissioning and servicing of their equipment.
