It’s pretty much obligatory in any company, during the festive period, that someone, at some point, will end up hugging the floor after over-doing it. But we were a little surprised to see this skip truck ending up on it’s neck!
Of course, the driver was perfectly sober at the time, but it looks as if the vehicles at Pink Skips of Telford, Shropshire, had a christmas party all of their own. Will Wellings, boss of Pink Skips, kindly described the incident as a ‘misjudgement by the driver’ who was understandably left quite shocked after the blunder. Managing to see the funny side of the situation, Will also told The Skip,
“It's not the normal bit on the side we like!”
Thankfully, no one was hurt in the accident and, amazingly, when the truck was tipped back over, the only damage was a broken wing mirror. Will added,
“The only thing hurting was the drivers pride, with the leg pulling from the other lads.”
