Chemtech (part of the Environmental Resource Group) have further invested in their all new state-of-the-art facility in the Midlands, with the purchase of an UNTHA RS100 4-shaft hazardous waste shredder, supplied by Riverside Waste Machinery Ltd. This concludes the design and commissioning of the plant, totalling a capital investment of some £2.5million.
Situated in the largest indoor transfer station of its nature within the UK, the new shredder completes the company’s service offering the secure destruction of hazardous waste and product deletion. The facility provides a private viewing gallery for clients to witness the destruction, or it can be viewed via a secure IP connection anywhere in the world. All destructions are automatically video recorded onto a specially designed ‘server’ within the companies extensive computer network. All services are offered directly to waste producers, brokers and other waste management companies.
Once destroyed, all materials can be segregated in batches to be recycled or recovered as required.

UNTHA shredders are manufactured in Austria and Riverside Waste Machinery are the sole UK distributors, having provided shredders large and small to customers all over the country for many years.
